When we were first "re-introduced" to sewing in the fall of 2004 we were fortunate enough to find a shop right near us: Sew Original . There we became acquainted with Shirley Bailey, co-owner and "teacher extra-ordinaire " . We have taken many classes from Shirley and her staff and are happy that we are now the proud owners of two, Bernina 200E machines as well as dual sewing tables and cutting boards. We should continue to enjoy our new hobby. Check out our quilting, tote bag and purse pages. More pics to be added later. Sew Original gives back to the community. The staff at Sew Original is spectacular too: Terri Sapp (software), Cathy Bogan ( quilts), Muriel Riggs ( events coordinator ), Joyce Dimock (Embroidery), Ann Ellis (special projects) and Ann Scofield (Reversible and 'Harmonic Convergence' Quilts). New staff additions include Mindy Engstrom (Monograms) and Jeannie Boyles. All are ready, willing and able to help with any project , explain fabric needs and assist in selecting materials. We have enjoyed our new hobby, sewing. We will add to these pages as we create new projects. In fact we decided to start a new website entirely devoted to our sewing activities: SEWENJOY.
