Garden History
We were fortunate enough to live on 32 acres of wooded land in rural North Carolina through the 90's and with excellent help landscaped approximately 3 acres. The ornamental cherry tree just to the left is one of over 100 shrub and plant varieties that grew on our properly.
Two gardens
The land in Pfafftown, NC had both flowers and ornamental bushes and trees. Some of them are displayed in our photos from the garden as it existed in the spring of 1999. Our friend David was an expert landscaper and taught us a great deal. He is 95% responsible for the layout and propagation of plants in the "Garden in 1999". When we moved into a condominium and started another small flower garden, David helped. Here are a few e-pics from our "Garden in 2005" and from some local trips. The June 15th Edition is here, too.
